Andrew Katz
Co-Founder + Principal
Andrew is co-founder and principal of Katz Development. Before founding the firm, he spent several years as a development associate at Westfield Company, where he worked on infill urban core projects across multifamily, office and retail, including Mission Ballroom, a 4,000-capacity music venue, and Stanley Marketplace, a 150,000 SF adaptive reuse project.
Since 2015, he has been involved in approximately $350M in development across Colorado and Ohio.
Andrew serves on RiNo’s General Improvement District Board and the Colorado Mass Timber Coalition’s Executive Board. He co-founded Katz Development with his father Scott and brother Adam.
Scott Katz
Co-Founder + Principal
Scott is co-founder and principal of Katz Development. For more than thirty years, he has operated as a commercial real estate general partner through Midland Retail, the Cincinnati-based development firm he founded.
Over the course of his career, Scott has completed more than fifty projects across the tri-state region, spanning regional power centers, industrial warehousing, multifamily communities, and mixed-use towers. His portfolio encompasses approximately 2,200 residential units, 1.5 million square feet of industrial space, and 300,000 square feet of retail.
His experience covers every phase of development, from site selection and entitlements through financing, construction administration, and long-term asset management. his depth of knowledge and experience is what Katz Development is built on.


Adam Katz
Development Associate
Adam is a development associate at Katz Development. Before joining the firm, he worked with Zeppelin Development while completing his bachelor’s degree in real estate at the University of Colorado Boulder.
At Zeppelin, he contributed to The Source Hotel and Market Hall, a 100-key boutique hotel with 50,000 SF of ground-floor retail, and Taxi Campus, a 28-acre mixed-use community with more than 570,000 SF of commercial space and 300 residential units. His work spanned project management, tenant improvement, and marketing.
Adam grew up in Cincinnati and joined Katz Development in Denver alongside his father Scott and brother Andrew.
